Jonathan is an ex-adman, selling his agency share to BBDO before Don Draper made it cool.
Now, with a passion for marketing, retail, tech, brand storytelling, customer engagement, measurement, brand audits, strategy, risk management, value creation…the list goes on…
Passion is the word; enthusiasm comes from a lifelong love of learning.
Jonathan founded Brand Tourist in 2014. A marketing services consultancy using research and measurement to gain-value for brand owners and their agencies. In a former life he co-ran the UK’s best shopper marketing insights business.
He is an elected fellow of the Institute of Marketing, a Freeman of The London City Company of Entrepreneurs, and a mentor at the London Business School.
He is also on the board of a UK charity and a Non-Exec’ Director for the enterprise company that supports The National Army Museum.
In his spare time, he teaches ab-initio flight instruction, reads almost anything and sleeps as much as possible.
