Tripp is the Publisher of Compass Media Group, a multi-platform news and broadcast media company in digital, radio, television, newspapers, magazines, and live entertainment events. He has over 25 years of experience founding, operating and growing businesses in technology and multimedia. Prior to Compass, Tripp was the CEO and founder of REQ, a pioneering company in digital media, advertising, brand management, and digital transformation, working with some of the most recognized brands in the world. Founded in 2008 and acquired in 2023, REQ won hundreds of awards for corporate growth, culture and creativity, completed four acquisitions, and was named to the Inc. 500, Adweek 100, and Deloitte Technology Fast 500 as one of the fastest-growing companies in North America. In 2020, Tripp was named Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young. Earlier in his career, Tripp served at the White House over four years as a presidential aide in the Offices of Media & Communications, Legislative Affairs, and Presidential-Press Advance. He holds degrees from Georgetown University and the London School of Economics. He is a fellow of the Aspen Institute and member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
