Danielle Watler

Originally from the Blue Mountains in Jamaica, Danielle Watler (“Danielle Alexis”) made the Cayman Islands her home after meeting her husband and father of their two little girls, John Watler, affectionately known as Deejay Selecta Renegade.

After working a number of years as the Marketing Manager for the National Trust for the Cayman Islands, Danielle took a leap of faith in 2016 and started the company “Out of the Blu” named after her first born.  She is now responsible for the marketing, public relation and event coordination needs of a large portfolio of international and local businesses.

Danielle’s accolades include motivational speaker, writer, host, actress and Owner and Local Designer of Cayman Carnival Band Renegade Mas.

Featured on Yahoo News, Enews and Insider, Danielle Alexis has put the Cayman Islands on the international map with her designs inspired by the sunsets of the Cayman Islands worn by Mariah Tibbetts (2020-2021) and Cayman’s national flower, the Banana Orchid, worn by Georgina Kerford (2021-2022).

But of all the accolades, she is most proud of being featured along with her family on the front cover of the 2020 “Cayman Parent” Magazine.

Danielle is constantly challenging herself to inspire and to be inspired, diving into anything and everything that develops her emotionally, professionally and most importantly – spiritually.
