The CIMPA Awards 2024, hosted by Miss Universe Cayman Islands 2023, Illean Powery, celebrated excellence in marketing, creativity, and innovation across the Cayman Islands. This year’s event brought together industry leaders, visionaries, and creative minds in a
vibrant showcase of talent and achievement. The ceremony highlighted groundbreaking campaigns and impactful strategies that have set new benchmarks in the marketing industry. With categories spanning digital marketing, branding, and community impact, the awards recognized not only exceptional execution but also initiatives that drive meaningful change. The glamorous evening was a testament to the island’s dynamic and rapidly evolving marketing landscape, leaving attendees inspired and energized for the future.

The event also set new records for CIMPA, including a successful raffle (that included a Pop Icon Marilyn Monroe painting by Jason Kennedy) that raised more than $2,600 to support future scholarships. One of the event’s key moments was the awarding of the prestigious CIMPA $5K Scholarship to Caymanian student Amber Ebanks. Sponsored by Prentice Panton, owner of Reflections, the scholarship will fund her marketing education abroad, contributing to the development of Cayman’s creative industries. “Thank you CIMPA for investing in my future as a young, ambitious marketing professional.” Amber said.

A standout Awards moment was the presentation of the inaugural CIMPA Made in Cayman Award to Tedrick Green for Ted Green Fragrances. Green’s emotional acceptance underscored the event’s theme of creativity and innovation. “It’s an incredible honour to be
recognized for something I’ve poured my heart into. This award is a testament to the creative spirit that thrives in Cayman,” he said.
