In 2026, marketing isn’t just evolving, it’s being re-engineered.“Level Up: Marketing’s New Formula” is a collaborative, future-focused conference and awards show presented by the Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association (CIMPA). The two-day event brings together big ideas, AI technologies, and real-world experiments designed to transform the way marketers think, work, and win. Through keynote presentations, interactive workshops, and a panel discussion, attendees won’t just explore what’s next – they’ll be equipped with the formulas, frameworks, and tools to create it.

Day 1: Conference

Under the theme, “Level Up: Marketing’s New Formula”, CIMPA’s 12th annual conference brings together local and international industry thought-leaders, AI innovators, creators, and global brands to share what’s working, what’s changing, and what’s shaping the future of marketing. The conference will feature keynote speakers, workshops, a panel discussion and networking opportunities.

Day 2: Awards Gala

Celebrating 10 years, the CIMPA Awards recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of Cayman’s marketing and creative industry. A total of 10 categories are recognized at the CIMPA Awards Gala, an evening of inspiration and celebration that brings together the brightest creative and marketing talents under one spotlight.

Level Up: Venture Studio Principles That Move Marketing Forward

In this session, the Cayman Islands Department of Tourism pulls back the curtain on Welcome to vaCay, the bold new global platform positioning the Cayman Islands as the antidote to broken vacation culture. From the data-driven insight that sparked the idea to the creative process that brought it to life, attendees will get an inside look at how a locally rooted campaign earns international attention — and what it means to build something the entire island can be proud of.

Modernising Government Communications in Cayman

What does it really take to communicate on behalf of a Country? Behind every government announcement, national campaign, and emergency broadcast is a team, a strategy, and a formula that most people never see.

Beyond the Press Release takes CIMPA delegates behind the scenes of one of the Caribbean’s most ambitious government communications transformations. This is a candid, practical, and honest account of the journey — the wins, the lessons, the systems built from scratch, and the moments when everything was on the line and the public was watching.

From building a team and professionalising a function, to executing campaigns that move people to action, to standing on the frontline crisis and a responsibility to get it right — this presentation covers the full spectrum of what modern government communications demands.The presentation speaks directly to this year’s CIMPA Conference theme. Because Level Up: Marketing’s New Formula is not exclusive to the private sector. It is being written in real time, in public service, in service of over 80,000 people across the Cayman Islands.

The Future of Digital Design: CX in an Agent-Driven World

As AI agents begin to change how people interact with brands, products, and services, the way digital experiences are designed will need to change too. This session explores what that means for customer experience, content, trust, and service design, and looks at how brands and marketers can start preparing now for a more agent-driven future while continuing to improve the experiences they deliver today.

David will share the story behind Everythin345, highlighting how the brand started, the key challenges faced along the way, and how those obstacles were navigated and overcome. He will speak on the transition from a simple social media page into a structured business, including the strategic decisions that fueled its growth and relevance. The session will also touch on lessons learned throughout the journey and outline future plans for expansion and continued impact. The presentation will conclude with an interactive Q&A session, giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly.

In an era defined by rapid change, communicators and marketers are navigating a landscape transformed by technology, geopolitical uncertainty, and declining stakeholder trust. This session examines how strategic communication is evolving—and how professionals can sharpen their influence and value within organizations. As AI takes on more of the routine tasks, from drafting press releases to managing internal updates, marketing and communications leaders must shift from execution to insight. The key differentiator now is judgment – the ability to anticipate risk, interpret context, and advise confidently. Through practical discussion and a forward-looking perspective, this session will explore what it means to “level up” as a communicator: building commercial acumen, regulatory awareness, and credibility to foster clarity, purpose, and growth in a volatile environment.

Swim Upstream: How to Connect Marketing Activity to Business Outcomes

Marketers are drowning in data yet starving for insights that actually drive decisions. This session challenges the marketing industry’s obsession with vanity metrics and introduces a practical framework for working backward from business outcomes to identify the leading indicators that predict performance. You’ll learn how to build a two-tiered measurement system that separates valuable signals from noise.
