CIMPA Announces 2026 Annual General Meeting and Call for Board Nominations

GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS – 23 January 2026 – The Cayman Islands Marketing Professionals Association (CIMPA) has officially announced that its 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on Wednesday, 25 February, at the Lloyd Conference Room in Cricket Square.

The meeting, which runs from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, serves as a critical touchpoint for the local marketing community to review the association’s progress, vote on modernisation efforts, and elect new leadership. Following the formal proceedings, a networking social will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

This year’s agenda reflects a period of significant administrative refinement for the association. Key items include a review of the 2025 activities, a summary of the association’s financial health and recent audit results, and an update on the completed legal review.

Significantly, members will be asked to vote on a Special Resolution to amend CIMPA’s Articles of Association. These updates are designed to modernise the association’s governing documents and ensure continued compliance with Section 80 of the Companies Act and non-profit organisation (NPO) regulations. This includes the finalised transition of NPO registration and Registered Office management to the Cayman Business Portal.

A Member-Driven Future “The AGM is the most important date on our calendar for ensuring transparency and member-led growth,” says the CIMPA Board. “By attending and voting, our members directly influence the governance and the future direction of the marketing profession in Cayman.”
